By accessing or using any digital application, website, or service provided by Cradle Children’s Hospital (“we,” “our,” or “us”), including services connected through Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of our services immediately. Your continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of any updates to these Terms.

2. Our Services

Cradle Children’s Hospital offers digital services including, but not limited to:

  1. Appointment booking and reminders via WhatsApp and Messenger
  2. Health tips, news, and awareness content on Facebook and Instagram
  3. Patient communication and follow-up services
  4. Customer support through Meta Messenger and Instagram Direct Messages
  5. Digital health information resources

These services assist patients, parents, and guardians in accessing healthcare information and communications — they do not replace professional medical consultation.

3. Eligibility & Account Use

Our services are intended for use by adults (parents, legal guardians, or caregivers) on behalf of minor patients under their care. By using our services, you confirm that:

  1. You are at least 18 years of age, or a legally recognized guardian
  2. You have the authority to provide consent on behalf of any minor whose information you share
  3. All information you provide is accurate and complete
  4. You will not share your account credentials or access with unauthorized parties

4. Information We Collect

When you interact with our digital services or Meta-connected applications, we may collect:

  1. Contact Information: Name, phone number, email address
  2. Patient Information: Child’s name, age, and appointment details (provided by you)
  3. Communication Data: Messages sent through Messenger, WhatsApp, or Instagram DMs
  4. Platform Data: Meta user ID and profile name (shared by Meta when you initiate contact)
  5. Usage Data: Interaction timestamps, message types, and response records

We do not collect sensitive medical records or financial data through our Meta-connected applications.

5. Children’s Privacy

Cradle Children’s Hospital does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13. All data related to minor patients is collected from their parent or legal guardian.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us immediately at privacy@cradlechildrenshospital.com and we will promptly delete that information.

6. Third-Party Platforms (Meta)

Our services integrate with Meta platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp via the Meta Business API. When you interact with us through these platforms:

  1. Your interactions are also governed by Meta’s Terms of Service and Meta’s Privacy Policy
  2. Meta may collect and process your data independently according to their own policies
  3. We are responsible only for data we collect and process on our own systems
  4. We do not sell or share your data with Meta for advertising purposes beyond standard platform functionality

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our digital services to:

  1. Share false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  2. Impersonate any person, guardian, or medical professional
  3. Transmit unsolicited messages or spam
  4. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data
  5. Harass or threaten our staff or other users
  6. Violate any applicable Indian or international law or regulation

We reserve the right to suspend or block access to users who violate these terms.

8. Medical Disclaimer

Information shared through our digital channels is for general awareness only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. 9. Limitation of Liability
